Somewhere on Kinder - remembering Kodak
I took this shot on Kinder Scout, sometime in the 80's. At the time, the only camera I owned was a Rollei B35, and my film of choice was Kodachrome 64. I now have a choice of many different camera's and (with Kodachrome gone from the shelves) my colour film of choice is Kodak Portra.
It's sad to read of the trouble Kodak is going through. Hopefully, by filing for bankruptcy protection, the company will survive and Kodak film (in one form or the other) will be with us for many years to come.

Lovely photo. Back when I used to do my own dev & printing, I used mostly Ilford (was it?) B&W film. Largely 'cos it was easy to find everywhere. I was no photographer though and only did it when prompted by some magazine/paper editor or other who'd want a piccy if they bought me words. It was a hard learning curve, I remember!
