I don't like Mondays...

Clisham range from Mor Mhonadh

Especially when they follow a great weekend and they have an on-call shift that follows the working day.

Saturday I got out on the bike and rode around the Pentland Road - Acha Mor - Leurbost loop. I took my recently acquired Holga 120 TLR with me and finished off the first roll of film. The roads are in a terrible state following the recent snow, and the main road from Acha Mor to Leurbost was in a worst state than the single track A858 across the moors. I needed to weave around the road to avoid the worst of the pot holes - good job it wasn't busy.

On Sunday I hit the hills with Deanne. We parked at Loch Seaforth Head and tracked directly across the moor and onto Mor Monadh via Cul Chreag then descended back to Loch Seaforth via Allt Cadha Cleit and followed the track back to the car.

The day was capped off with a well deserved beer in the Loch Erisort Inn :-)

  1. At least you don't go around shooting people :-) (reference to the title)

Cycling & hiking sounds good - love the pic too, reminds me of Dartmoor.
